Fabric and texture

A light printed fabric with a matte finish and a soft sheen that drapes in easy folds, printed with blossoming branches: soft pink and rose-pink flowers in mixed sizes, lavender-blue blooms and tiny cream flowers on thin light-brown twigs with small green leaves, plus a few tiny birds perched along the branches. The ground is a saturated marigold orange, an orange-yellow that is deeper than a pale lemon and brighter than mustard, and it shows between the sprays, so the print reads as scattered branches rather than a dense ditsy floral. The wide sash is cut from the same print, and below the high waist seam the skirt is finely gathered into an A-line that falls loosely over the bump. The main fabric is 100% polyester.

How long is this dress?

It is a short dress: in our photos the hem lands a little above the knee, and there is no slit. Below the sash, the skirt is finely gathered and flares into an easy A-line with a loose hem, as the front, side and chest-down views show. What are the neckline, sleeves and back like?

The front is a crossover V-neckline: one side crosses over the other, the point of the V sits at mid-chest, and the edge is finished with a narrow binding. Ruffled flutter sleeves sit over the shoulders and just the top of the arms, with no sleeve below the underarm. At the back, a round neckline sits close to the base of the neck and the sash runs across the back waist. What are the sash and the fabric like?

A wide sash in the same print circles the high waist just under the bust and, in our photos, is tied in a bow toward her left side, off center, with two tails falling past the bump. The main fabric is 100% polyester: a light print with a matte finish and a soft sheen that drapes in easy folds, with soft pink and lavender-blue blossoms on saturated marigold orange. Changed your mind or need a different fit? Message us within 30 days of delivery and we’ll approve your return; you only pay the return postage.

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, as long as the dress is unworn, unwashed and unaltered, with its original tags and packaging. Trying it on at home is fine. Just message us first so we can approve your return.

For a different size, send the original back and we’ll ship the new size free of charge (subject to stock).
